Weight Loss...Oh yeah!

I want to lose weight, its official!

Right now I'm 5ft 6(7) 13st and my dress size varies from 12-18!

So I eat well, I cook all my own food, except the odd meal out where I eat sensibly, and I'm now a lot more active than I previously was, basically if I can walk somewhere I will.

I was in town the other day and thought hmmm Holland and Barratt, I'll go in for some Soy Milk. I wandered up to the foods aisle and to my left I saw 'Slimatee' 10 bags for £1.49. It's basically a super mild herbal laxative that clears your system out, helping you to lose a few pounds.

So I thought why not give it a go? If it helps me lose a few pounds it might motivate me to work out more and lose more weight, which is all good!

Its a lovely peppermint smelling tea, tastes like normal tea without milk and goes down really well.

You need to take it at night so it can work while you sleep, which I did last night.

The first thing you want to do the morning after is run to the loo!

I do feel better though!

It says to take it at night for 2 weeks in any 2 month period, so I will and see how it goes.

Heres hoping I lose some weight eh?

St Moritz self tanning mousse!

Say hello to the £2.99 wonder mousse!

St Moritz is my new best friend, its a coloured self tan mousse so you can see where you've applied it and its so much better than St Tropez which is about 10x the price for less product!

So my boyfriend applied it for me(much better application getting someone else to do it for you) and its such a beautiful golden brown colour instantly.

So you simply apply then 6 hours later you can shower and you have a beautiful golden tan that i'll admit lasts for ages without going the typical dirty way self tan usually does!

Whats even better about it is that it has quite a nice smell, not even a typical self tanning biscuit smell, its slightly biscuity but not disgustingly, I actually quite liked the smell of this product!

I read somewhere that someone did a comparison of the ingredients of St Moritz and St Tropez and they are essentially the same..Bonus.

It's currently £2.99 in Semi-Chem however selling really fast!

Wilkinson value beauty range

Good afternoon!

So today I went into town and found the most amazing..and cheap..skincare system and its from Wilkinson.

I got a gentle facial wash, cleanser, toner and moisturiser all for 77p each!

I used them once I got home and my skin feels so soft and actually looks better, the redness has been slightly evened out and my spots(if you can call them that, they look just like small red bits) look better too.

The facial wash is really gentle with a gorgeous rich lather..

The cleanser is really creamy with a slightly oily texture but works really well..

The toner removes every last trace of make-up and dirt and is so gentle..

The moisturiser is quite thin however it works really well, I used it at 12pm and its now 3pm and my skin still feels moisturised and smooth..

Best of all my make-up application was so much better and I used much less product after using this system!

This is my skin now(urgh) and in 8 weeks i'll put more up to see if there has been any change using this system.

From my initial use I definately think its worth buying.

She's American so I don't have/can't get access to all the products she uses but you can always improvise with what you have or can afford.

She's a 22 year old beauty blogger(guru) on Youtube.com, she's studying fashion and is in the military as a mechanic. Interesting huh?

So she does make-up tutorials and reviews and makes her looks so easy to do, that I decided to attempt one of her make-up looks for myself :)

I'm really proud of it and really recommend visiting her Youtube.com channel, she really is inspiring!

Vintage Jewellery - My new obsession

So....

I was bored last week and decided to look on Ebay.co.uk just to see what I could buy and came across the cutest jewellery shop!

They do the quirky, kitch, and vintage jewellery, I just had to buy some!

I love camera's and photography, so thought I'd buy a necklace with a camera pendant.

It was only £6.90 in total!!!!

So I think I'll be buying more, definately, especially as its so cheap :D

There are also Casio watches in the f91 style, which I love, all different bright colours for £14.99 a piece, so when I have more funds I'll be buying some too :D

Hey!

This is day one of the blog so I thought I'd write a little bit about me :)

I'm Nicola, 20 and love beauty, make-up, fashion, anything girly really!

Also I LOVE a good bargain.

I'm engaged to the wonderful Jamie who really is my soulmate, he makes me happier than I ever thought was possible! Love you!

I'm starting college at the end of August to do Business and Administration...Go me!
